The Social Security Administration conducts studies throughout the year and you can find many of those studies on their website at: https://www.ssa.gov/disabilityresearch/research.htm
Recently, SSA did a survey, or study, on what percentage of us are even aware the Social Security Disability program exists. The study concluded the following:
75.8 % of adults overall are aware that the DI, or SSDI, program exists.
It also concluded that people with a high school diploma are no college are less likely to know about the program compared to others with a college degree.
We have info on our website about the SSDI program at: https://www.pinyerdlaw.com/~/social-security-disability-insurance-ssdi-/
And we previously wrote a blog post about SSA disability in general, you can access it here: https://www.pinyerdlaw.com/~/blog/2022/august/understanding-social-security-disability-insuran/
