Top things to do as a Veteran on Veterans Day:
Visit a particular museum or state park or battlefield with your family, friends, or fellow veterans to learn about our nation's history and those that have fought for it
Attend a celebration - local VA or American Legion may host a Veterans Day Celebration
Shop or dine at stores that have deals for Veterans
Share your service story with family, church, friends, school, etc.
Share your day with a veteran at the VA Hospital or Veterans Home or a nursing home
Visit a disabled or single vet in their home and take care of minor repairs or just sway stories or share a meal
Reach out to a veteran friend with a phone call or email or letter
Observe two minutes of silence at 11:11
Wear your "veteran colors" - hat, jacket, etc.
The theme for Veterans Day 2022 is "Honor." Honor reflects the military value and tradition of answering the call to duty. There is distinct honor in serving to protect our way of life and the Constitution of the USA.
In addition to working as an Attorney Advocate for Veterans, Mr. O’Hara volunteers with the California Highway Patrol and as a Docent aboard the USS Midway Museum in San Diego. Thank you for everything you do Bill!
Thank you to all our Veterans and families of Veterans! Our country is grateful!
Veteran.com also has a huge list of complimentary meals or discounts that Veterans can get today. You can find that list here: https://veteran.com/
I would also like to personally thank all the Veterans in our office, including Brandon, Hannah, Bill, & Exton.
